GENERAL ASSEMBLY & NETWORKING
GENERAL ASSEMBLY
The ASSITEJ General Assembly will operate in an online format this year. Video and written reports will be released ahead of a series of scheduled discussion meetings which will occur live on ZOOM. These live ZOOM sessions will take place at the following times:
- 24 March 20:00 – 21.30 Japanese Standard Time
- 25 March 20:00 – 21.00 Japanese Standard Time
- 26 March 20:00 – 21.00 Japanese Standard Time
- 27 March 20:00 – 21.30 Japanese Standard Time
- 30 March 20:00 – 21.00 Japanese Standard Time
National Centres, ASSITEJ Networks and Individual Members are invited to attend the General Assembly with a delegation of up to three persons. Full members are encouraged to participate with three persons wherever possible. Additional members of the National Centres and Networks can participate as observers.
The General Assembly will mainly be conducted in English. However, interpretation into Japanese, French and Spanish will be available.
CEREMONIES
ASSITEJ Japan will produce the Opening and Closing Ceremonies as part of the ‘On the Ground’ Festival which will be recorded for sharing with international delegates of the ‘Online’ World Congress. These recordings will be broadcast at specific times (to be confirmed) and will be interspersed with live speeches from ASSITEJ Executive Committee members and other invited guests. In addition, the ASSITEJ Awards Ceremony will take place via online broadcast on ZOOM.
NETWORKING
Many events in the Professional Exchange Programme naturally lend themselves to networking. On top of this, National Centres, ASSITEJ Networks and Regional Networks will host networking sessions for delegates from around the world to meet up online and discuss various topics in breakout rooms.
